Beltane Celebration CANCELLED

With respect to the continuing COVID-19 outbreak, we have cancelled our May 2nd celebration of Beltane. We regret this necessity, but the elders feel the risk to our most vulnerable members is too high. Stay well and stand strong in the Union of the Lord and the Lady.

Who We Are

Dragonlair & The Celtic Groves

Dragonlair is a Wiccan coven of the Celtic Groves, based in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, in Texas. The founding members of Dragonlair began practicing as a grove in 1990 and formed as a coven in 1991. Dragonlair has hosted public Sabbats since 1992. Our core beliefs and practices tend to the traditional, with Scottish and Irish Celtic influences. In 1994, as we planned our first major event, Witchstock, we saw the need for a nonprofit entity to separate financial activities from spiritual ones, and provide support for teaching the religion and the Tradition. The Celtic Groves was formed.

The Celtic Groves is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation organized exclusively for charitable, religious, and educational purposes. It manages the financing of public Wiccan celebrations and events hosted by The Celtic Groves and affiliated covens. It serves as an avenue to meet and serve the community. The Celtic Groves retains the founding coven's teachings and connects solitary Wiccan elders and associated covens to a public presence, offering support, guidance, and spiritual instruction. Our Articles of Incorporation were filed with the State of Texas in 1995. Our bylaws were ratified in 1996, and we registered with the U.S. Government as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation in 1997.
